Absolutely stunning service and atmosphere, 10/10 absolutely recommended. Beautiful food and menu with amazing attention to detail when serving your food. They delivered our food perfectly with a lovely presentation, and at the end they gave us warm towels to clean our hands after, with chocolates.

We've been to the Mahaan three times now, and although the food is very good, it always feels like us being there is an inconvenience. During our visit last week we had one pleasant cheerful staff member, everyone else made us feel like we shouldn't be putting them out by being there! If the staff were encouraged to at least smile occasionally it would help. You can't just ride high on a reputation, customers need to at least feel slightly valued, and this is our experience on all three visits unfortunately. Like I said, the food is very good.

Long established authentic Bangladesh and Indian Restaurant with an interesting history. Spacious welcoming atmosphere with lovely rich decor and attractive in wall water features and pleasant traditional background music. Extensive menu with attentive friendly service. The food was fantastic and served piping hot. After dinner mints and hot towels issued after meal, always a sign of quality. This restaurant gets busy for good reason. Highly recommended!

The food is delicious and the service was very friendly and helpful. There is music in the background but it is not disturbing at all. When we were there they did a birthday surprise for a customer with a cake. So it seems like they do that sort of stuff as well. Our only minus is that we had to ask 4 times for one jug of water which then finally did arrive.

Amazing food, amazing service and just a great place to have a meal if you're in Worthing. Everything was reasonably priced. The Basha Prawn dish was amazing.
