1. Publisher
Restaurant-Halal.com is published and operated by the Operator whose legal identification and contact details are set out under "Operator details" below. The publication director is the Operator's managing director or any person they have designated for that purpose. References in these notices to the "Operator", "we", "us" or "our" mean that legal entity.
2. Contact
We do not publish a public support email address. Please send all enquiries — including general, legal, privacy, and security matters — through the Contact form on this website (available from the footer). Choose the subject that best matches your request so it reaches the right team. Restaurant owners can also use the contact options in their owner dashboard. Postal mail: Faraday Web Services Ltd, 12 George Road, Suite 5, The Cloisters, B15 1NP Birmingham, West Midlands, United Kingdom.
3. Hosting and infrastructure
The Service is hosted on cloud infrastructure provided by reputable European and global providers (such as AWS, Google Cloud, OVH, Hetzner, Cloudflare and similar) acting as Faraday Web Services Ltd's sub-processors. The hosting provider in use at any given time is documented in our internal records and may be disclosed on request to any person with a legitimate interest through the Contact form on this website. Static assets and images may be served from a content-delivery network for performance and availability.
4. Site, brand and domain
The brand "Restaurant-Halal.com", the design system, original copy, source code, structured data and curated database are the property of Faraday Web Services Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws (the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 in the United Kingdom; the Code de la propriété intellectuelle in France; and equivalent legislation elsewhere). The domain restaurant-halal.com is registered and operated by Faraday Web Services Ltd.
5. Intellectual property
Except where explicitly authorised by us in writing, you may not reproduce, represent, distribute, modify, sell, sublicense, scrape or otherwise exploit all or part of the Service — including its design, source code, copy, structured data, and curated listings — by any means and in any form, except for normal personal browsing. Any unauthorised use may give rise to civil and criminal proceedings, including for copyright infringement, trademark infringement, sui generis database-right infringement, and unfair competition.
6. Restaurant trademarks and brand assets
Names, logos, photos and other brand assets of restaurants displayed on the Service belong to their respective owners. They are reproduced for editorial and informational purposes (to identify the restaurant being listed) under fair-use principles, with the consent of the restaurant owner where the Listing has been claimed, or under licences granted by photo contributors. If you are a rights holder and believe a Listing infringes your rights, please use the takedown procedure described in section 8 below.
7. Hyperlinks
Outbound links to third-party websites and apps (including delivery platforms, social networks and mapping services) are provided as a convenience to users. The Operator does not control these sites and is not responsible for their content, availability, prices, terms or privacy practices. Inbound deep linking to public pages of the Service is allowed provided it does not misrepresent the relationship with us, frame our content, or harm our brand; please notify us through the Contact form on this website.
8. Reporting illegal content or rights infringement
In line with Article 6 of the French LCEN, the EU Digital Services Act, the German NetzDG and equivalent regimes, you may report content you consider illegal, harmful, or infringing your rights by submitting a notice through the Contact form on this website (choose the legal, notice, or takedown subject as offered on the form). Please include: your contact details; a precise description of the content (URL, screenshot if possible); the legal grounds on which removal is requested; and (for rights-holder claims) evidence of your rights. We act diligently on substantiated notices and may remove or restrict access to the disputed content. Filing a knowingly abusive notice may engage your civil and criminal liability.
9. Consumer mediation and dispute resolution
For consumers in the European Union, you may access the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. French consumers may, in addition, refer a dispute that has not been resolved within two months of a written claim to a consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation) of their choice. UK consumers may contact the Citizens Advice consumer service. Any decision to use a mediation service is voluntary, and the Operator reserves the right to consent to such mediation on a case-by-case basis.
10. Updates to this notice
We may update this Legal Notice at any time to reflect changes to the Operator, hosting providers, or applicable law. The current version is always the one published on this page; we update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
