Tasty affordable food with a clean venue. Like many GDKs, the chicken döner is always a risky choice, you never know if the meat will be cooked properly or not... During my last visit, I was not so lucky. The meal upset my stomach. On another note, I don't frequent this town often, but I was disappointed to see that after 5pm, the high street becomes desolate... and then is replaced by countless young teens with antisocial behaviour. They were climbing up the scaffolding, being loud, and making everyone walking past uncomfortable. Why do I mention this here? There was a big presence right outside the restaurant and some sitting inside, not even ordering or eating. It ruins the atmosphere of the shop and town.

We had a beef and a mixed kebab. The bread was very good, and the portion sizes were on the medium side. The extra sauce pot was tiny for 50p. The flavour overall was good, but after a few mouthfuls, I found it much too salty. The curry fries were overpowered by the seasoning that tasted like salty, raw curry powder, which didn’t work well and overshadowed the fries. I’d eat here again, but I won’t be rushing back.

Every time we go to GDK, it’s like playing the lottery — you never know what to expect. And this time, GDK had another surprise in store for us. Last time, there was an issue with the amount of meat in our portions — there were a lot of vegetables, but very little meat. This time, the amount of meat was fine, and everything tasted great, BUT! I found a raw piece of chicken in my kebab! Not undercooked — completely raw! (See the photo). Makes you wonder what surprise awaits us next time! Although when they first opened, it was the best place to get a kebab.

We came in today to try a different and innovated kebab service. The food was well cooked and very well prepared and served. They have table service. This place was immaculately clean. THE FOOD OUT OF THIS WORLD. I would personally prefer this kebab to the traditional one. The portions were generous the salads tasted fresh. Food comes with a option of sauces ... and why not having them all 😁 price wise ££ but considering the amount of food we had I belive it was fairly priced. Only suggestion would be less cheesy sauce on the burger as when it cools down gets a rubbery taste. And some little wooden spoons for the sauce so it can be transfered to the meat.

Ordered from here on different occasions, the food is reasonable when it arrives. On one occasion I didn't receive the full order, when I called the restaurant I have been told I have to make a complaint to the delivery company although the bags were sealed when I received them. Last time I ordered i did not receive my order at all, again when I called them I have been told that they sent the order but the delivery person has reported that hus food carrier bag was stolen so again I have to complain to delivery company. They obviously haven't bothered to let their customers know and I would not have called i would have waited in vain.
