Absolutely shocking the state this restaurant has become which was booming once upon a time … came here for breakfast … asked for tap water … was given a bottle with a mouldy top (and you wonder why some reviews say people had gastro problems after being here) … the pickle pot was absolutely filthy and sticky … I asked for a fresh pot … lady came back with the same sticky pot with just the contents stirred !!! …. I was about to take a pot from a neighboring table but even they were filthy ! Clearly they never clean them !!! Surely it’s better to put pickle in a small pot in the breakfast rather than on the tables where they don’t get cleaned between customers !!! The salt and pepper pots were rusted too and abviously don’t get a clean ! I ordered desi breakfast which was the only nice thing ! We also had an English breakfast which was very disappointing … tiniest pot of beans ! Butter had unidentified sause on it so couldn’t eat that ! The portion came with 1 omelette … 1 sausage and 3 hash browns … like why 3 hash browns and not 2 sausages ? … seriously this place needs to get their hygiene practices and portions sorted !!! Disappointed … it’s a beautiful restaurant shame they can’t get their act together … oh and you’ll find all the men on their phones talking loudly while the women are rushed off their feet and getting shouted at !

Very bad experience. The food was terrible — the mild veg biryani was burnt and tasted awful, and the butter chicken was extremely spicy. Just a friendly piece of advice: please consider changing your chef and if we got sick we will sue you getting chest burn i have order many food on uber but this was disgusting

The food was very authentic and flavourful, I also felt that the potion sizes were very generous. I tried the royal Nihari, chicken karahi, naan and chapati. All the dishes I tried very super good.😊. However, I would say that the food takes a while to come out yet I’d say it’s worth the wait, really suggest you try it out if you can.

Awful Pizza! Description states chicken marinated in Tikka sauce, I’m pretty sure that’s meant to sound fresh. Instead I received cubed processed chicken. Why state wrong information on the menu?

I was utterly surprised by the quality of the food here - tip-top, incredibly rich in flavour. Finding the place we last visited closed down, we chanced on this one, reserving that afternoon and only finding once inside they didn't serve beer (and didn't allow us to bring any in)... but that's really a minimal downside. It's large and open-plan, rather like a school dining hall... but not really noisy - most diners sat quietly, enjoying their meal or keeping noise to a minimum. We were probably the only "white group" there, so it was pleasing to notice it filled up pretty quickly, and seemed to be a hit with Asian families, which is always a good sign. And with just reason... I can't recall the name of the meal I ordered, but it came with boiled egg that really did set it off well. The sauce was rich and complex (finding out later it comprised of roasting nuts), far deeper than I'd encountered in other diners, and the chicken had been well seasoned in the sauce, penetrating deeply. It wasn't a large bowl, but was certainly quality over quantity. Service was top-notch; the waitress was very attentive, reappearing at several intervals to check up on us. Other than the beer thing, can't fault it - and many drinkers in our party all agreed they'd happily go dry for however long it took to have that meal, such was the quality. Deffo intending to return!
