Do not attend this nandos. My food arrived In appalling condition. The rice bowl arrived with NO rice and the plant strips looked like they’d been thrown on the floor and torn apart. The halloumi had clearly been on the grill for all of 1 second as it arrived raw. So disappointing to see how little care this restaurant has for its customers. Receiving this would never have been okay.

Have been to Nando’s all around UK and last Wednesday (18/2/26) we found ourselves in Sunderland first time after many many years with family. I just want to say to the manager at that day that she had been the most amazing, welcoming, hospitable manager I have ever come across in Nando’s! Well done lady! (Sorry I didn’t catch your name) You have made my family’s day :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Visit! We had a brilliant meal at Nando’s Sunderland. The food was fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly – exactly what you want from Nando’s! A special shout-out to Julia, who was an absolute star. She greeted us with a big smile, made us feel so welcome straight away, and looked after us the whole time without us ever needing to ask for anything. She had such a friendly, genuine way about her that really made the meal feel more special. You can tell she cares about her customers, and it didn’t go unnoticed. We’ll definitely be back – great food and even better service from Julia!

My first Nando’s! I got the grilled chicken pitta with smoky churrasco sauce and grilled halloumi. Was incredibly nice and the chicken was juicy. However the sauce was slightly hotter than I expected ahaha. Would definitely get again though.

I would not recommend going here I went for food with my partner and I ordered the boneless meal for 2 the chicken came uncooked and slimey and the server even admitted to not checking the chicken throughly as they grill it I do not recommend
