one of the best meals out I've had in a long time 🇹🇷 They have a lunch deal on until 6pm 2 courses for £17.95, perfect for an early or pre theatre tea! To start we had the saksuka (aubergine, peppers and potatoes in a tomato sauce) which was lovely and fresh, however I did prefer the hot starter we had, the sigara bogeri- deep fried pastry filled with feta cheese. We also had to order their balloon bread after enjoying this during cocktail week - its so light and fluffy and served with a trio of excellent dips. I played it safe with my main and got the chicken shish, no regrets as this was excellent. Massive chunks of juicy chicken served with fresh salad, a tomato salsa and rice. Every element was so tasty! We also had the "Lahmacun" - a flatbread topped with lamb mince, onions, tomato and parsley. You roll it up and stuff it with salad for a nice crunch, this is one of their signature dishes. Service was fantastic too, super friendly and happy to help us with the menu. There's a good beer and cocktail selection too. Would recommend and would 100% return🫶

Fantastic food and atmosphere staff are very friendly and if you’ve never been before or are unfamiliar with the type of cuisine they offer they’re happy to advise you on what you would like they are very flexible with the happy hour too as we turned up late for our reservation and still honoured our happy hour order which they absolutely did not have to do! We tried a multitude of different foods and shared they even offered us side plates to allow us to do that and every table gets a free order of fresh bread which I think is a very nice little touch. Food comes out and your eating experience doesn’t seem rushed at all staff are patient and friendly and food speaks for its self.

Exceptional service. My lasting memory of this restaurant is the attentive waiter and the delicious food. I am new to Turkish food and was constantly asking the waiter for opinions and advice, he was attentive and helpful, and never failed to provide me with good advice as to what to have. I enjoyed every second of it, a wonderful atmosphere and a smashing night out. I'd recommend here to anyone. Our party ranged from 11 years old to 83 years old, all of us LOVED it. 5 stars. 100%. Good luck in the future Enfes!

Excellent first time visiting this restaurant. The service and food was excellent. The menu is full of authentic food choices and the quality is obvious in the flavour. We found the efes draft in chilled tankards is an excellent touch. This restaurant has a few extra touches they add to improve the dining experience. We will be back!

Great restaurant. Went after a matinee at the theatre so had the three courses for £20 deal. Great choice of dishes available, and everything we chose was excellent. We'll be there again next time we're in Sunderland - pretty we don't live closer!
