  UPDATE REACHED OUT AS REQUESTED BELOW TO BE TOLD THE PORTION SIZES AND EVERYTHING IN THE PICTURES ATTACHED IS DEEMED ACCEPTABLE EXCEPT THE GRAVY SHOCKING! I went back after its makeover, everything looked good except the food that came to the table. I was mortified. I rarely make a complaint but this was the worst visit to any Nando’s I’d ever had by a mile and even any food place I’ve been for a very very long time. I’d get more sauce out of a McDonald’s dip compared to the sweet chilli jam and even the chicken gravy portion sizes was absolutely shocking! The sweet potato fries portion size accumulated to probably less than the size of one potato and the pic taken looks like there was a lot more than there was trust me. My order was for butterfly chicken with no skin so when it came there’d flavour in the chicken, came with skin and I’d of taken it off but I mentioned it and the staff member nicely offered to get it taken off so I thought ok. He took it to kitchen and was going around the other tables there was about 7 customers in there maximum and it was very quiet and not even busy or I’d of understood. I was waiting atleast 8 minutes for it before I had to ask another member of staff for my food whilst every other plate on the table went cold (2 halloumi jam, the unacceptable portion of wedges, a chicken mac n cheese wrap my friend was waiting to eat, the maybe 2 teaspoon fulls of chicken gravy) when the chicken came she said it had been on the grill.   I’ve been to so many Nando’s and this one was the best. The level of service was just unmatched. The staff were efficient in meeting people at the door and seating them. Our food came in less than 10 minutes and was sooo good. The chips were so fresh and the sunset burger was perfect! Also, I ordered a sprite and it came already filled. I’ve never had that in Nando’s before, usually you just get an empty glass and you have to fill it yourself. Honestly just an amazing experience. Gonna turn this one into my new usual, it’s a bit further but sooo worth it! Highly recommend

  Best Nando’s I’ve been to and me and the missus come a lot. Staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Matten went above and beyond and made us feel really welcome. They stock condiments I’ve never seen at any other branch, the venue was spotless, the food was perfect, and they can pour a great pint! If you’re shopping at the retail park get yourself in or you’re missing out!

  As half our order didn't turn up. We rang the less then helpful phone line. JEM was as much help as a chocolate fireguard. An entire meal missing from order. We rang the branch number and was directed to Jem in south east Asia not stockport. He couldn't send out a replacement order!. Asked if he could put us in touch with the branch they would, no. So nandos messed up, missed an order but won't replace it. You have to go online and order again the missed meal. I ask for a gesture of good will and refund a starter. As we have one starter,one main meal and two adults wanting to eat. So the inconvenience of one meal being here then waiting 30 mins plus for 2nd meal. Nope nothing here is the online complaint email etc. Asked to speak to a manger no. Terrible service. The impact when one meal arrives and not two. Does ones person eat now. Do we reorder with the company who messed up, whose customer service is shocking and zero help? If we re- order one meal the delivered one is then cold. Trying to lodge a complaint online is almost impossible. Hence the zero star review. Doesn't help the time before we did take away they missed a side. That time member if staff was much more empathetic. Jem was unhelpful unfortunately.

  Not a Nando's fan and it had been some time since I last visited one, so I thought I'd give it a go again for lunch. Nothing has changed apart from an increase in price. Average chicken, average macaroni and cheese, average houmous, and average coleslaw. However, I do think the halloumi sticks were very tasty, as was the cheesy garlic pitta. The unlimited drinks were also good. Overall, just very average.
