It was our first time trying Marrocan food and we fell in love with the Lamb Tangine and the fragrant rice. Such delicious food, excellent service and a very beautiful restaurant. We had the green tea as drinks and thought the portion was quite small for two people considering the price. Other than that, it was a 10/10 experience and we will be back soon ! We didn't book but we're very lucky to have a free table. I'd recommend booking in advance.

I was looking for a place to bring a friend who is vegetarian but wanted something flavourful. Looked at the menu and was immediately sold. We went for a late lunch and ordered the 6 mezzes with wine and a side of Persian jewelled rice. The food and desserts were absolutely delicious, and I’m so glad that there’s a gem like this so nearby. Will be visiting again very soon!

What a really good experience. No waiting as we entered and the staff were very friendly indeed. We ordered the mixed grill to share … by the way , you must order the Rose Tea...and it was first class. Cooked to perfection and the flavours were perfect. Waitress/Waiter service was good ! The Loo's were very clean and overall a really nice atmosphere. I'm glad that they play traditional music as a background that is in keeping. The ONLY SLIGHT negative is that the tables for two could be just a bit bigger. This is definitely a place that I will return to. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing experience. Food is so flavourful and fresh with authentic Moroccan vibe. We felt so cozy and warm immediately after entering the restaurant after an unexpected spring shower with a bit of chilly atmosphere outside. The service was amazing and the attentiveness of the server was also notable. They honestly suggested the main dish to be shared with two kids, which we otherwise over ordered. Great wine selection and desserts as well. We will come back to St Albabs just for this restaurant.

We’ve moved to St Albans in the last couple of weeks, so in between breaking down cardboard and thinking about the massive debt I’ve saddled myself with, we fancied a takeaway. The missus was keen for a safe, boring, generic katsu curry, but I vetoed her and selected Moroccan as our cuisine of choice. Delivery driver rocked up and spoke highly of the restaurant, so things were off to a good start; upon seeing the sheer quantity of food, I was pretty sure I’d smashed it. The meat platter was leng, as was the baba ghanoush, and I did it all justice by making it into a massive wrap that fell apart as soon as I tired to eat it (pictured). Extra points for having good Tupperware.
