On Monday, me and my family (2 adults, 3 kids (aged 6 - 11)) were making our way back to Southend from Lakeside, and we decided to go find a restaurant for dinner. Quick search online, and I found Anatolian Restaurant. Nice, clean and spacious restaurant. Thankfully the restaurant was quieter than usual, which we preferred. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We were given couple of starters on the house! The starters were delicious. (The sauce that came with the grilled mushrooms was really tasty). We ordered the 'Anatolian Mega Special for 5-6 people'. First of all, there was plenty of food for my entire family. It could have definitely fed another couple of adults. (We couldn't finish it, so we took the rest home). The food was cooked to perfection! And needless to say, it was delicious. If I was forced to pick one item that stuck out for me; it would be the lamb chops. They were so chunky and tasted really well. But trust me when I say, every item on the platter tasted amazing. Would we come back here again? Definitely yes! The customer service and the food were all on point. (Btw, there was a car park directly behind the restaurant, so we had no issues with parking. The toilets were spanking clean too).

Lovely restaurant with great prices, generous portions and a wonderful manager (Berat) and good team! The decor is beautiful, the seats are comfortable and the toilets are clean. Both visits have been great fun with friends and loved ones and we'll definitely be back! I highly recommend the following: - Cold Mezze Platter (for 4) - Mixed Grill - Lamb Beyti - Lamb Shank (Incik) - Rice Pudding - Baklawa - Chocolate Fudge Cake The Lamb Casserole was lovely too and I really enjoyed the flavours however the lamb was quite chewy and so it wasn't all edible which was a shame. Recalling these dishes has made me want more, so I look forward to visiting again soon!

Incredible Turkish food and a vibrant atmosphere! The chefs deserve a huge shout-out. If you're looking for a great experience, I highly recommend it—and don't miss the rice pudding!"
