  The pumpkin katsu and grilled vegetable gyoza were great, as was the fresh mint tea. The service was really attentive and polite. The teriyaki tofu soba was ok, it lacked in flavour a bit and there wasn’t enough tofu. Overall a good experience for fast Japanese food from a chain. There are a few vegan options, which is great. And I love that they don’t label things vegetarian AND vegan, the ‘v’ means vegan and that simplifies things massively. We actually came in because it said there was a discount through January, sadly we didn’t get a discount. But if you’re looking for fast food, I’d recommend here instead of Wendy’s or whatever junk that is nearby. It is expensive though, which makes me want to go to an independent Japanese restaurant - but at a quick glance of the mall, this was the only one nearby.

  We were headed to a large chain restaurant when we stumbled across this lovely Japanese. The food was tasty and presentation was well thought out. The kids menu was not overwhelming providing simple but delicious favourites. The main menu had a good selection of food with staff happy to provide recommendations - I tried the bento box on staff recommendation and it was both delicious and well presented. Sadly not local to us but if we're back in the area, we'd come back!

  We were served by Kenzie today, who provided excellent service. Her warm personality and kindness made us feel so welcome. She was able to accommodate our preferences, as we ordered a katsu curry with rice and an old-style katsu noodle dish. The food itself was piping hot and delicious. The chicken was crispy and the curry was so flavourful. Compliments to the chefs for an incredible dining experience. Yakinori has been a long-time family favourite and it will stay that way! Thank you again to Kenzie for being so wonderful. She is such a valuable member to the Yakinori team.

  Always pop in here for food when we need to stretch our legs at the office for the takeaway boxes and its always been a great experience. Recently popped in there to sit down and eat for our anniversary and as always the food and atmosphere was stellar. Customer service from everyone involved especially from Atika and Leah was phenomenal as always as well and the chefs even came up with a lil treat for us to try on our anniversary to try which was a very unique and welcome experience! Definitely recommend coming in here whenever you're nearby and thank you for everyone involved for helping to make our day memorable!

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful lunch at Yakinori Japanese Restaurant in Touchwood, Solihull. The food was authentic, tasty, and beautifully prepared. Every dish was full of flavour and really enjoyable. The kids loved their bubble tea and mochi, which made the visit even better for the whole family. A great spot for delicious Japanese cuisine highly recommend!
