Looks a beautiful restaurant and the servers are really lovely and polite. Unfortunately the food let them down. There is a picture of the lamb in one of the curries we received. Me and my friend ate the other two we ordered. We didn't think to check them. Hopefully the chicken is not as bad as the lamb. Otherwise we may be ill. Won't be going there again.

Average Indian. Bay of Bengal in Littleborough or better in my opinion. Lacking attentiveness and customer service, had to ask for a plate on two occasions as had forgotten to bring to table. The Paneer shaslik is my go to meal and it was bland, lacking smoky flavour and big meaty chunks of paneer. In oil Instead was very dry and small pieces of paneer. Disappointing

Didn't like the food thought it was mediocre at best in terms of flavour. Service was decent in terms of speed but nobody sound the food to be great taste. We visited as a large group and did not like the cash only or bank transfer policy at all. They also made us group into twos when paying for our drinks and came out with a little plastic tub to take drinks payments separately to food. A couple of people said when they've ordered online the payment is taken by various company names and never the same name. A staff member explained it was to avoid tax, I get they want to avoid taxes as tax is quite high, but the same taxes pay for children to be educated and the ill to be treated, it's what makes the country work and not fail like other countries where nobody pays their fair share. I can't recommend somewhere so unethical.

I visited Pavilion with my family last week. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food arrived on time. I have dined here that often that I have nearly tried everything on the menu and I have no complaints. Once again, I had another lovely experience dining here!

I cannot say about atmosphere as we ordered a take-away. It appeared to be bustling. We weren't keen on the cash or bank transfer idea. Even if they're avoiding the tax (which we all have to pay to keep the wheels turning) there should still be a card payment option. Food; This place used to be THE place to go if you wanted the best. It now has fallen from those heights. The rice wasn't the best. One dish, which I had been looking forward to for so long went in the bin. It bore no resemblance to what I've had from Pavillion 2 in the past, from other take-aways and the stuff I used to cook and was trained to make both in Chef training and by my Asian friends. I'm so disappointed. The chicken tikka meat was dry. The entire meal was barely passable at best. However, the members of staff we did come into contact with, both when ordering and picking up, were lovely. I honestly believe that this place is still trading on it's past reputation. We won't bother going again.
