This restaurant is stunning inside. The staff were so so lovely, attentive and quick. The food was delicious. We only put it as 4 stars since the lamb was chewy on one of the plates, and the hummus had what must have been a large crystal of salt that was solid, so I got a shock eating it. However, we would definitely make a return. The flavours were incredible and the pide was very nice; reminiscent of our holiday in Turkey. The side salad was also one of the most divine that I've had. Thank you so much! (Also, they also do sing happy birthday when requested, which I've noticed other restaurants tend to ignore on the bookings - again, the staff are so attentive!) :)

Beautiful food and people. We chose off the lunch menu which was lovely. We are travelling from Leeds to Stirling, if we had more time we would have chosen off the main Menu and tried more Persian dishes. We will be back again.

We had a lovely 4 course anniversary lunch at Ateesh. Staff were fantastic and food was gorgeous. I’ve taken the dessert for later as there was so much food. We had the mezze, sliders and wraps. With baklava to finish later. The restaurant is lovely inside.

Four of us went there for dinner. The food is not authentic Iranian. I believe the food is customised to please the tastes of the local visitors, who mostly tend to be British. We visited better Iralian restaurants in Newcastle, which offered more affordable prices and larger portions. Service was ok, although there were delays in taking orders and serving the food. The atmosphere is modern as it appears to be newly built.

Beautiful venue, delicious food and great service. Dietary requirements weren’t met however. I requested veg to be soft and well cooked and they were al dente, they apologised and got me some more, but they were still very crunchy. I appreciate the chef may not like to do this, but when it’s for medical reasons, they really should accommodate. Saying that, I will still be back again, I will just have to avoid vegetables all together
