Vegetarian option for one was insulting - I ordered fesenjān (£17) and was presented with a large bowl of basmati rice and just the sauce unlike the meatball version (£18). I dont see why it doesn't come with something else like aubergines or pumpkin as is traditional. For a balanced meal you need to be sharing dishes in a larger group. I would have ordered a side but 7.95 for tsatziki seems a bit much - the prices quoted here on Google are out of date. Tea was £3.50

Delicious food, very filling, great service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended - if I’m in Plymouth again I’ll come back and try something else from the menu. This was first time trying Persian / Iranian food and I like it a lot. Really nice, subtle flavours different to anything I had tasted elsewhere. Not spicy but very well seasoned with lots of taste, very tender slow cooked beef infused with the stewed herbs and other ingredients. The Persian flatbread is really good too.

I have some limited experience with Persian cuisine, but what I’ve had before was truly excellent. That said, my recent visit was deeply disappointing, especially given that critic Jay Rayner praised the restaurant so highly. I’m left wondering if his experience was uniquely staged or sourced from elsewhere. On a quiet, not-at-all-busy evening, our food took an exceptionally long time to arrive. When it finally did, it fell dramatically short of expectations—so much so that leaving early crossed my mind. The overall experience was lacking: the ambiance was underwhelming, the music too loud (though that may be personal preference), and the service was practically non-existent, appearing disorganized and inexperienced. As for the food, it was regrettably bland. The aubergine dip tasted overwhelmingly of lemon juice, while the yogurt dip was watery and lacked substance. The kebabs were inferior to those from my local takeaway, and the rice had the texture of being "boil-in-the-bag." A lamb stew we tried was dominated by a single note of cinnamon, reminiscent of the "cinnamon challenge." There are few positives to highlight, aside from perhaps its acceptable location—though even that comes with the inconvenience of paid parking.

This is a great restaurant that serves Persian cuisine, I was hesitant, however my hunger won out. It is a relatively small restaurant with tables lined up end to end in rows, however as it was not particularly busy, this layout did not bother me. I was served by a lovely young lady called Molly rose who provided exceptional customer service to all the customers including myself. I did not have to wait long to be served, at any point in my stay. As this was my first time in a Persian restaurant, Molly was able to recommend a lovely dish which was cooked to perfection. Molly rose always wore a smile on her face, which made communication very easy and enjoyable.

We came very late on a very busy night and were still met by an absolutely lovely waitress and served absolutely wonderful food. The atmosphere was so nice and I would love to come back a bit earlier to stay longer and enjoy all things this restaurant has to offer. Thank you SO much!!!!
