Our first visit to this elegant spacious restaurant was on Christmas Day, we had a wonderful time, it was so relaxed & comfortable & the food was lush! I found the drinks prices affordable & the pina colada’s were so tasty! We did have an issue with my 18 year old not having her I.D with her so they couldn’t serve her any alcohol but that was soon put to bed. The food was cooked nicely & presented well. The staff are lovely, they even took photos for us in front of the Christmas tree. Honestly we really did love this place, we will be back!

We had a fantastic experience at Ego at The Cedar Tree. The rib-eye steak was absolutely superb — beautifully cooked, incredibly succulent, and full of flavour. You can really tell quality ingredients are being used and treated with care. The service made the evening even better. Amanda, who looked after us, was genuinely lovely: attentive without being overbearing, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The décor also deserves a mention — stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully done, creating a relaxed yet classy atmosphere that’s perfect for a special meal or a casual treat alike. All in all, a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. 🍽️👏

Amazing Sunday lunch, was apprehensive as I always cook the best Sunday dinner and am usually disappointed when I’ve had one out but it was very nice here. My husband and I both had a starter, a main and started a dessert with a bottle of wine and a couple drinks before. Food was gorgeous, lovely helpful staff, the one girl (Lauren? I believe) was very helpful when providing recommendations as I am indecisive. Meat was cooked beautifully. Food was hot and delivered in a timely manner but not too quick between courses. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed. Good value for money too. Will definitely be back!

It used to be a friendly place before but now not the same. Staff only interested in getting rid of you. Wonder why would anyone asks if am still eating when they see me eating at the table? How many times would one check to see if we are done within 30 mins? They just want us to pay and leave. Not going to step in again.

Great atmosphere with nice selection of food. We had 3-course meal and it was a good value for money. Good portion for each course. The only thing that didn’t go well was the dessert - I had the trio of dessert and apple crumble was burnt and the other 2 were too creamy. Other than that, service was exceptional, food was served in timely manner and just right volume of music so it allowed our group to be able to speak to each other without shouting. Would come back again.
