Had to return to Tamatanga when I visited Nottingham on the weekend, so I could order my favourite cheese naan from any Indian! I had a great time with a friend over drinks & curry, and particularly enjoyed the Keralan Lamb curry and the cheese naan (which was as lovely as I remembered!) Service was solid and food arrived fast. We were served by Annalise, who overall did a great job and gave us good recommendations, although we did have to ask twice before we got some tap water. Prices to me were reasonable for the portion size and quality: ~£18 for a meat curry with rice, ~£6 for a cheese naan (arrives as two small naans). We also ordered multiple drinks and extra sides, with a total for the two of us coming to ~£60. In particular Tamatanga's late opening hours and kitchen opening hours was really useful for us, due to our limited daytime availability. Looking forward to visiting again :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tamatanga – Nottingham Popped in for the lunchtime deal and honestly… I think Tamatanga might be the only place in Nottingham that can make a biryani bowl and a Coke Zero feel like a 'spiritual' experience. For a lunchtime deal the portion was huge, the flavour slapped, and the price didn’t make my bank account cry. A rare combo these days. Service was quick, friendly, and just the right level of “we won’t hover over you but we also won’t forget you exist.” Perfect for a lunch break where you want good food without the chaos. Left full, happy, and will 100% be back to repeat the ritual.

We both had excellent curries here, the cuisine was amazing and delicious, plentiful and served by Ella, who looked after us in a friendly and welcoming manner. This is highly recommended if you want a traditional curry. They also cater for vegetarian and vegan diets with plenty of choice.

I had a great experience at Tamatanga Leicester. The food was delicious, full of authentic Indian flavors, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous and very satisfying. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit.
