  Visited Marmaris Turkish Restaurant in Nottingham on weekday Wednesday and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. The menu offers a great variety of Turkish dishes, with plenty of choice, and the food we ordered was delicious and well presented. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and flavourful. Service was generally good, although we did feel a little rushed to order as the waiter came over to our table twice without us calling them — but aside from that, staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a great place for a meal out with family or friends, and definitely somewhere I’d recommend if you’re in Nottingham and fancy Turkish cuisine. Would happily visit again.

  Great experience we had a family event here. 14 of us the bill was around £18 per person. We ordered two platers and some sides, with some meals for people with dietary restrictions. Everyone loved the food. We had vegetarians and pescatarians all of them were able to have a beautiful meal also. The service was amazing they were extremely attentive. The service made this day even more special. I couldn’t recommend it more.

  An amazing find in Nottingham. Halal Turkish food, affordable prices and an overall a delicious meal out! The mixed grill was yummm! And the service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be returning!

  Excellent Turkish food. Some of the best i have had. Have eaten in and ordered take out and delivery multiple times. Food is flavorful, portions are generous and always tasty. Can't go wrong with any meal there. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, highly recommended for Turkish food.

  We were extremely disappointed with the quality of our recent takeaway order. Both wraps arrived with incorrect sauces and were overwhelmingly filled with salad and dressing, containing only a minimal amount of meat — far less than expected and inconsistent with previous orders. The situation was made worse by the poor customer service we received. Rather than acknowledging the issue, the staff accused us of being dishonest and refused to either remake the order or issue a refund. The only option offered was to return the food to the restaurant in person, which would have required an hour’s round trip. As regular customers who have supported this restaurant for some time — along with many in our local community — this experience was incredibly disappointing. Regrettably, we will no longer be returning, and we will be sharing our experience with others in the area.
