Went here today for the lunch menu. Couldn’t fault this beautiful place at all. Stunning restaurant, exceptionally warm friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection and fresh bright vibrant colours - so tasty and perfect portion size plenty of gluten free options. Thoroughly recommend the lamb dishes! Completely understandable as to why this gem of an Indian restaurant is so popular. Worth every penny, absolutely fantastic thank you so much!

We had a wonderful dinner experience at this restaurant. We ordered butter chicken, paneer lababdar, dal makhani, lamb chops, chilli garlic naan, and tandoori roti. The lamb chops were outstanding, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. All the vegetarian dishes were equally impressive, especially the paneer lababdar and dal makhani, which were rich and delicious. The breads were fresh and complemented the meal well. The service was also very good, friendly and attentive throughout. We found this place through Google and it definitely lived up to the great reviews. Highly recommended!

We arrived at 1pm on Sunday 16th and were met by a wonderful person who took our reservation and sat us down. We were promptly provided menus in which the intelligent waiter talked us through the drinks and food menu. We ordered the Chefs feast and asked for no seafood which was no issue. Cocktails were out of this world and the food was possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. I don’t think I’ve ever had meat in a curry so tender! It was out of this world along with the service and drinks. First visit and won’t be the last! Thank you so much for an incredible afternoon!

I came here on the recommendation of a friend as I was staying in town near the railway station In Bengali, Khai (খাই) primarily means "(I/we) eat" or "eat" (verb), used to describe the act of consuming food so I presume Khai Khai is eat eat. The ambience is also very nice. They've made a good job of the renovation. I was pleasantly surprised with the Kolkata Chicken and the Tandoori Broccoli. Highly recommend the mint and mango lassi. Think Eat Eat Think Khai Khai lol.
