  They’ve got this nailed. Modern Indian, not the standard curry house. Tasty, with thought in every detail. Loved it. Walked in around 10pm on a Wednesday evening, no reservation, two of us; despite the place still being busy we were seated straight away. Friendly and welcoming from the start. The food was excellent. Bold flavours, beautiful colour and texture, and aromatic spice. Fresh, full of flavour and beautifully plated. Even the crockery, cutlery and glasses play their part. I enjoyed the Madras chicken curry, garnished with whole black peppercorns to stir into the creamy sauce, paneer makhani masala, rice and a bottle-conditioned King Cobra, itself an unusual sight and another example of the thought given to every aspect of dining here. Worth what we paid. (Visited August 2021)

  What a wonderful restaurant this place is! We visited as a group of 8 on a busy Saturday night and we loved it! I personally went for the 3 small plates & side whereas my husband went for a Lamb Rogan Josh and he said it was the best rogan Josh he has ever had. The chicken for my small plates were buttery soft and the amount of different flavours were incredible. Service was really attentive and everyone enjoyed their meals. We will be returning again in the coming weeks and definitely recommend!

  I went for the Sunday roast and had the lamb boti and the palak patta chaat. I dont think I've ever had a better starter, it was beyond amazing and the main course was perfect. The staff were great, very helpful and quick with things but the food is the best I've had in years, I will 100% be back

  We were a walk in and they were able to accommodate us. The food was good. Service was very attentive. Portion size is just right.

  Good table management for those without a booking. Had to wait but they gave us a call when our table was ready which was a good experience. The staff were friendly. Small plate prawns and lamb rogan josh were very good. However, no “sagaloo” on the menu to which they improvised which is appreciated but wasn’t what we asked for. The chutneys were very basic with the popadoms, nothing spicy, no lime pickle.
