A quick lunch stop while Christmas shopping at @metrocentre at the weekend, I was very impressed with @getgroundeduk for a healthier lunch We both got the bowl and bao deal which was £13.95. The bowl was a really good portion with chicken, sticky rice, avocado, mixed veg, sesame seeds, coriander, lime and your choice of sauce/spice. It was so tasty with loads of flavour but also light with loads of goodness. The beef bao was amazing I'd definitely get this again and think I preferred this to the chicken. Definitely one to visit when you're in the metrocentre, if youre tracking all of the calories and nutrients are on the menu. My meal was under 700 calories which I was very happy with! 🍲🥟

Bit of nice little secret this place …. Opposite the Chinese buffet in the Metro Centre which is always buzzing with people , but you missing a treat if you don’t try this place .Sometimes you worry when places aren’t that busy , but not with Grounded Kitchen . I suppose there are a few noodle places near by but don’t neglect this place. Noodle dishes are substantial and full of flavour , staff give you the choice of how spicy you want your food which is a bonus as I am not great with hot and spicy !! Tables and booths kept spotlessly clean by lovely staff and our server Sophie is particularly attentive and very pleasant . This is the second time we have been and she remembered us immediately with a friendly welcome and looked after us throughout our visit . Had the chicken wings too which were lovely and plenty of napkins supplied as the dish they are served in was covered in a wonderful sauce !!! Definitely worth a visit if noodles and rice are on your lunch list !!
