  We had a great experience at this Afghan restaurant in Luton. The food was absolutely lovely — full of flavour and very tasty. The portions were generous and the service was quick, which made the visit even better. The staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout our meal. The mixed grill was especially good, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The daal was a real hidden gem — rich, comforting, and packed with flavour. The Kabuli pulao was also very enjoyable, and the chilli sauce added a great kick to the meal. Overall, a fantastic place for authentic Afghan food. We’ll definitely be coming back!

  An amazing food experience—visited first with friends and later with family, and the food impressed both times. Portions are extremely generous, with some dishes served alongside large naan on stands. The Middle Eastern style of sharing large naan from naan stand is lovely, and despite eating to our limit, we still had leftovers. The Afghani pulao, lamb nihari, chapli kebab, kheer, and milk cake were all excellent. Parking on the street are tricky paid parking in 5 mins walk distance available. Place can get really crowded especially on weekends, and pre-booking is strongly recommended as we waited 30–40 minutes for a table. The entrance area was overcrowded with waiting customers, families with infants, and delivery drivers, making it noisy and chaotic. Staff were clearly overwhelmed—we had to request our drinks multiple times before they arrived. The noise level was very high, which was particularly difficult with 2 kids in our group, making normal conversation almost impossible without raising voices. I feel the restaurant could consider strict reservation-only seating during peak times to better manage crowding, service flow, and safety. The environment during busy hours may suit those comfortable with high noise levels, but it can be challenging for families with young children. Food-wise, still highly recommended—but plan carefully for peak times

  Really nice food. Everything we had tasted amazing. The service was amateurish. Waitresses would gather close to the tables and chat away. When about to serve food, a waiter rested the platter on the back of my chair on my jacket for which I had to tell him not to. Bathrooms could do with a regular clean. The place overrun with families. There were queues of people trying to get a seat..that's good sign. Overall for 3 people it cost about £72. Decent value and portions were good too.

  Recently visited, was too busy- food came quickly after ordering on this occasion which was good. The rice had loads of raisins which was nice touch , kebabs tasted ok. Portion size was rather small for the mix grill and shank was also same. The whole meal didn’t feel value for money nor did it taste as good as our fav Afgan restaurant we frequent (out of town) . The ambience of the restaurant compared to other many local establishments are decent (when not over crowded) and the jaggery with complimentary tea is a rather nice touch and something I enjoyed the most. Saving grace for me!

  Amazing experience overall. The service was outstanding, warm, attentive, and welcoming. The food was delicious and truly authentic Afghan cuisine, and the vibes were great. We were also treated to complimentary green tea and baklava, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
