I frequently dine at Deshi Spice, and I can confidently say it’s the best restaurant for miles around. From the moment you walk through the door, the staff make you feel genuinely welcome, and the service is absolutely top-tier. Attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed. The food is on another level entirely. Every dish is bursting with authentic flavour, beautifully cooked, and presented with real care. You can tell the chefs take pride in what they do, and it shows in every bite. Whether you’re after something rich and hearty or light and aromatic, they nail it every single time. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for any occasion, but it’s the combination of exceptional food, incredible service, and truly wonderful staff that makes this place stand out above all others. I’ve eaten in countless Indian restaurants over the years, and honestly none of them compare.

Sadly a terrible experience because of Jay’s dismissive attitude. Wrong meal delivered followed by Jay ignoring my preference of heat of curry and dismissed any notion of a replacement / refund despite me being polite and kind. A real shame. Wish the business every success but terribly dismissive attitude and low working standards.

I went with friends for a first visit. We arrived at 7:30pm on a weekday and we're seated right away. Even with a group of seven, seating wasn't a problem. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The weekday curry special allowing you to mix and and match starters, main dish, vegetables and starch is the East to go if available. Food was excellent. We enjoyed our time together.
