Food was nice but 2 hours late, then was missing two mains, which took another 40 minutes to come. Poppadoms were crushed in the bag (see picture) and when we complained (we were very polite) the person on the phone was prickly. They clearly take more orders than they can manage, won’t be ordering from here again.

Arrived to a warm, clean and welcoming restaurant, busy but laid back. To be honest I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. The range was a little limited, but what they had was very enjoyable, lots of meat in the dishes and a good temperature. Premium dishes rather than cheap ones, desserts better than I had usually had at a buffet style. Would recommend for the ambience, food quality and price. Will be going back.

InSANE!!! I’m not too good with menus especially if there’s a lot of choice so I simply said to the waiter Shaun) “I’m gonna need a bit of advice” and he was great. He said what do you like? Mild medium or hot? I said medium, he said “do you like chicken lamb or fish“? I said I’ll have fish he said “leave it to me“ he came back with the best Fish curry I’ve ever had.

Visited Spice of Life last weekend after winning a free buffet pass and couldn’t fault it! Food was incredible and staff were so lovely! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

My Mum recommended we go here (it’s her regular place) when I visited home. We placed a £100+ order. The app set our expectations to 30 minutes turn around time. It ended up taking 2 hours. We then had two missing mains, so whilst half of the family ate we then called to get them. The fella assured us this would be resolved promptly in 5-10 minutes. 40 minutes on, the food that was missed has arrived. Almost three hours on from ordering. Unfortunately we were offered a £10 voucher as reconciliation, but the disappointment will mean we won’t visit or recommend this restaurant again. A voucher of such a small amount given the stress caused at our celebration was really an insult. Food is lovely, but the lack of care and consideration and the mis managed expectations has meant we will not be back. Such a shame given our regular custom.
