The customer service was excellent, staff were attentive and welcoming, which made us feel well looked after. Portion sizes were also generous and good value for money. However, the food itself did not fully meet expectations. The Türkiye Special King Prawn starter was served cold, whereas I was expecting it to be a hot dish. I chose not to raise this at the time. The main course, the Türkiye 1 platter for two, was also somewhat bland and lacked flavour that you normally associate with Turkish cuisine.

First time dining in a Turkish restaurant and this place didn't disappoint. Friendly and welcoming staff (who were always on hand) relaxed atmosphere and great selection of food... I opted for the Lamb Kofte with its chargrilled finish and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone to come visit. 🇹🇷

Sept 25: Fantastic find on a very wet September evening in Glasgow. Despite being a Monday night this place was packed and we were lucky to get a table. Food was incredible, portions huge

First time here, got the restaurant manager to help us make our order and his recommendation was fantastic. Good value, plenty of food on the plate, super tasty barbecue and fresh food all round. 10/10 would recommend 🥰

Efes in Glasgow has a welcoming atmosphere and genuinely lovely staff, but the food didn’t match the setting. I ordered the lamb adana and was disappointed by how bland it was, with sauces that added almost nothing in terms of flavour. Even the salad felt like an afterthought, and having to share it with my friend made the portion seem even smaller. For what it cost, the meal simply didn’t feel worth the price. It’s a shame, because the ambience and service were the strongest parts of the experience, but the food really needs more attention to justify the bill.
