A very enjoyable lunch. I've not eaten Moroccan food before. My tagine of meatballs arrived bubbling hot, with delicious aromatic rice. Very atmospheric seating. Very good service. If you want a different dinning experience in Exeter give Al-Farid a go.

Called up on a busy Saturday night where everywhere was full and the staff kindly made space for us on the balcony - atmosphere of the restaurant was good and the layout/ decor was interesting and unusual. Food was major scran, particularly the lamb and chicken dishes. Bit on the pricy side but worth it as you won’t find other food like this in Exeter.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was exceptional and the wine was fantastic. Service with a smile as all the wait staff were incredibly friendly. Very reasonably priced for what we got. We will definitely visit again!

everytime we go to a comedy night we love to experience another gem that Exeter is offering and unfortunately, that Plymouth is missing. This did not disapoint. luckily we made a booking in advance as it was jam packed. we took multiple mezzes and they were all amazing, couldn't fault a single one. it was extremely hard to choose as they have such a big variety but will definitely go again to try the main courses

10 of us ate here last night & I can honestly cannot fault it. This was our 2nd visit as we enjoyed it so much the 1st time we decided to go back. The food was amazing with several of us having the meze, others having various other dishes but it all arrived together all freshly cooked. The atmosphere here is so relaxing and the staff are so friendly and efficient. Cannot praise them enough. You really need to book well in advance because it is so good. If you have mobility issues it's not the best place to visit as it is an old tudor building so you need to take this into account if you are thinking of booking. Two of us are disabled but managed the stairs even if it took some time. Absolutely love Al-Farid restaurant and I think you will too.
