This was one of the best restaurants I've been in a really long time. Everything we tried sooo good! The price was also fine. I loved it soo soo much. I really recommend this restaurant. Food is delicious Servis was amazing, really nice people here We've had malabar beef dum biriyani. It was soo delicious with a lot of meat. And lamb korma with garlic naan that was also really good. And the portions were quite big.

I went here on my anniversary after looking at the reviews and was glad that I went. All the dishes are authentic Kerala taste and the Arab specials also live up to your expectations. I tried the chicken roast mandi, Kerala parotta, paneer tikka for my son and the Kerala chicken curry all were up to the mark. I have visited these folks thrice in a row now and have tried their Malabar dum briyani twice which is pure Kerala style briyani. If Mamooty makes a cameo in a film called Edinburgh then that’s what Makhani is for you. Just like how Malayalam cinema is breaking boundaries, makani is doing the same with its authentic flavours. Ah not to miss the Kerala chai which no one has talked much about but I am a big fan!

It was amazing. Especially the service and the way they are taking care of the customer is just splendid. The only thing I was not feeling good was, some of their food has high quantity, and we cannot complete the plate or pot whatever it is. Especially their special dum biriyani if you are not a good eater please don't go for that your tummy is gonna burst off. I'm saying not this as a bad comment but they can save their food and guest won't be having any sort of egoistic thing like I couldn't finish it up... that's all... overall I'm giving a 5 star rating...for them kudos to the team. Keep going buddies.

It was our first time in Edinburgh and our first stop was this restaurant. Food was brilliant we ordered lamb Mandi and chicken alfam and both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The interior was cozy and beautiful as well worth the money we spent we would love to come back again. Good portion size too .
