  Was here with my wife two days ago. We do like Indian cuisine and we cook it ourselves, so it's with some background that I can state that here I ate one of the best Indian dinners of my life. Good variety, tasteful and colourful dishes. The owner is simply fantastic: he takes care of his guests, he explains with passion what you are about to eat, very kind. We had a conversation about passion for spicy and, at the end of the dinner, he donated me a jar of chili chutney to bring it home to Italy for my own cooking. Prices absolutely good. I strongly suggest it.

  Me & my family went here for a meal last night and had such a fantastic experience! The service was amazing, the staff were so kind and explained all about the menu and where the different dishes came from. They couldn’t have been more attentive! The food was amazing, we each ordered ‘Thali’ which let us try 4 different curries, rice, naan, samosas and potatoes. I travel to India all the time for work, and I’ve never had Indian cuisine in the UK that actually tastes like proper authentic food, until visiting this restaurant! Couldn’t recommend enough & we will definitely be back! Thank you x

  My family & I went to the Tuk Tuk this evening for my Granddaughter’s 12th birthday. The food was amazing. The Popadoms were the best I have ever had. My main meal was flavoursome & nice & hot. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive even when it got busy. The atmosphere was good, and the staff very friendly. I will definitely be going back, & would recommend this restaurant to anybody.

  My family visited as a party of five. We ordered a variety of different dishes, multiple different curries, vegetable biryani, meat thali, naans and rices, as well as a starter. All of the food came out boiling hot and fresh. The dansak was quite spicy, with a lovely thick sauce made of lentils. The tikka masala was sweet and thick, and not over artificially coloured. The balti was our favourite, slightly more greasy but filled with fantastic flavour. The chicken pieces were very small in each curry, but the chicken was juicy and flavourful. The staff were really friendly, taking our drinks orders and letting us know how long the wait would be before they came back to take our food order. They were happy to discuss the food and made Tuk Tuk have a nice atmosphere. The restaurant was spotless and decorated nicely. Do bring a layer to put on if you feel the cold, they have strong air con. The toilets were very clean as well. Separate men's and women's. My only comment on the otherwise fantastic food would be the portion sizes. My partner and I ordered 3 curries between us, with a rice each and shared a naan. The amount of food we ended up with on our plates was then probably still less to what comes in a standard takeaway tub. The food was absolutely delicious, and this honestly isn't a complaint. Just thought it was worth mentioning. Highly recommend!
