Forgot to take a proper photo at the start because I was too eager to eat 😅 but the fish was fresh, crispy, and absolutely delicious. Light batter, flaky fish inside, and cooked perfectly. Portion size was generous, chips were golden and satisfying, and everything tasted freshly made. Simple, classic, and done right 👌 Loved it and would definitely recommend. Will be back again!

Really friendly, attentive, hardworking staff. Food is always good. It’s very clean. Toilets are clean. Cutlery is put into coverings, so no else’s sticky fingermarks! Also a great stop for lunch or evening meal. Can highly recommend a visit; you’ll definitely return!

On the 20th Feb 2026 I visited this restaurant & had the OAP fish & chip meal deal for £12 & added mushy peas( has to be done) The pot of tea included in the price was enough for 2 cups & the meal was enough for me to take half home for later. It was freshly cooked & the service was great. Will definitely go again.

Great value for money with large portion sizes that won’t leave you hungry. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was well-prepared and delicious, making it an excellent choice for both quality and price. Highly recommend!
