The food was very nice, couldn't fault it, would recommend. It wasn't very busy due to going on a Sunday and booked at 8pm but that just meant we had the place to ourselves. Starter was very good and mains also!

Went for a takeaway on new year's eve and god was it busy! I thought the staff were great in sorting out everyone's orders. We had to wait a little longer than expected but that was due to how busy they were. The food was awesome and everything was spot on.

Update: Had another takeaway today and tried a chicken madras for the first time from here, absolutely delicious, quite a bit spicier than the tikka masala, I would highly recommend! Always used to be my favourite Indian restaurant in Chesterfield so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they now deliver to the area that I have recently moved to. The food still tastes the same as it always did, had my usual chicken tikka masala (original recipe), egg rice, garlic naan and onion bhaji's, free poppadoms, extra onion and condiments included! Beautiful food 😋

Put in order for a delivery. Had to reheat as it was cold, also did not get my full order. Telephoned them back told them 2 items were not in the order received, the reply from them was " will send you it next time". Told them to deliver the other curry and portion of onion bhajis as I have paid for them. The order was not cheap either for home delivery. The service off taking a telephone order for delivery is shocking as this is not the 1st time the order has been wrong.

We have recently switched from our regular indian to West Bars.We have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times and the service is brilliant and the food is delicious and piping hot. We ordered a takeaway for the 1st time last night at 6.30 with an expected delivery time of 7.40, fair enough it was Saturday night. I rang the restaurant at 8.10 to enquire if our food was on its way, to be told it was just being bagged up and to give them another 10 minutes. I called back again at 8.30 and offered to go and collect it to be told the driver was on his way. The driver arrived at 8.40 (one hour after our delivery time) and did apologise but our food was luke warm and had to be heated up in the oven. It had clearly been sat on the side waiting to be delivered. The restaurant shouldn’t accept deliveries if they are unable to fulfill and should call customers to go and collect their meal or at least advise customers your meal is going to be late. We finally ate our tea at 9pm. I wouldn’t recommend delivery from here…😏
