It is our favourite restaurant! Absolutely incredible! The food, service and atmosphere is always 10/10 and has never dropped. We've been 15+ times and we haven't had a single problem, the food/service standard has been incredible high every time. The vegan selection is amazing! We recommend the vegan platter, agedashi tofu and kaiso salad, though everything else is just as delicious too! Can't wait to go again! :)

If I could score any higher I definitely would. Front of house staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant is very well laid out and immaculately clean. The eating space isn't huge but comfortable with an ambience to match. Food was nothing short of superb, well presented with different flavours in each bite. I had two starters and a main and that was filling. Id recommend booking unless your in early, as I left at 7pm the place was packed and turning away people without bookings. All in all very pleased and will be calling again.

Lovely food, really delicious just wish I had few more vegetables in my chicken katsu curry. The chicken was super crispy and cooked to perfection and the takoyaki amazing flavour.

It is not easy to have genuine Japanese Food in UK. Hamayuu is one of them. The only comment is the busy hour. If you walk in at busy hour, it is unlikely to get a table unless you book before. And, I only saw three staffs handling all the work including the cook. It is a bit tight. They are trying their very best already serving the customers.

I am a big fan of Japanese food, and this place is super. I travel to Japan a lot, and the food here is really tasty and authentic, at incredibly reasonable prices. I love the tempura and donburi dishes, especially the veg tempura, prawn tempura, and gyudon (beef and onion with gravy on rice). Some of my favourite dishes, impeccably prepared. Great value, with very friendly staff. Some of the best Japanese food I gave had outside Japan!
