  Excellent food paired with an artistic interior and beautiful décor. The prices may seem high at first, but the overall quality of the restaurant more than justifies them. The location is ideal—calm and peaceful, yet right in the heart of town. Customer service is outstanding. Dishes may take a little time to prepare, but given how tasty they are, this is completely understandable.

  What a beautiful amazing restaurant and eating on swings is a first for me, loved it ! Had a warm welcome when I entered followed by very professional waitresses who explained the menu to me as it's a bit different to what I'm used to. The menu is small plates and they recommend 2 or 3 per person, there is a good choice to choose from and everything tasted amazing. Love all the fairy lights and decor in general and when I left I asked if this was a chain or an independent, they said a chain and apparently there's one where I'm from so I'm definiely going to try that one out 💯👌🏻

  We had an incredible experience at Mowgli in Chelmsford. The service was absolutely outstanding and we genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing. A special mention to Emilia, who looked after us so well and made the experience even better. We were celebrating a 30th birthday with a group of 13, and everything ran perfectly, no waiting around, drinks arrived quickly, and the food was delicious. The whole experience felt effortless and special. We will definitely be returning!

  Having visited Mowgli in Chelmsford for Valentine’s Day, me and my boyfriend have found a new favourite restaurant. A massive thank you to our lovely waitress Brooke. She was friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. A real asset. We had the sharing menu, all dishes were delicious and at the table really quickly. Cocktails were also great. Thank you Brooke and Mowgli Chelmsford!

  Food is packed with flavour, though I'd say some dishes are inspired Indian dishes rather than a 100% how it should be. The Goan curry for example, isn't similar to traditional Goan curries. However the meat was cooked perfectly and the flavours are amazing. The service and atmosphere is good too. Had to wait a while to get our receipts - problems with the till. That caused a panic due to the parking running out! Recommend a visit.
