  We’d been warned by a few people this place is going downhill, especially from one friend who got food poisoning from one of the burgers. But we’ve always loved Print Yard so we still went. Unfortunately they were right. I’m pregnant so ordered a mocktail but when the waiter came over they had no idea what the drink was and just guessed different cocktail names. It tasted weird so I gave it to my partner in case there was alcohol in it and I just ordered something different. I’m vegetarian so I ordered the vegetarian veg roast in a Yorkshire pudding as my main, which comes with veggie gravy. When it arrived I asked the waiter if the gravy was vegetarian, so he called the kitchen to double check to confirm it was, which they said it was. After 5 minutes eating it he returned to inform me the kitchen had just told him it was actually beef gravy. The waiter was really apologetic and said that the meal would be taken off the bill. When we went to pay however, it was still on there and when we let the lady know that it was meant to be removed she had no idea what we were talking about. I don’t know what’s happened but it seems like the communication is awful and nobody really knows what’s going on. It’s such a shame because it used to be one of our favourite places to eat.

  Met up with friends on Saturday, had a great lunch here with drinks, really impressed. Lots of varied options; great friendly staff, good value, will definitely be back when next in area.

  This is an absolute hidden gem! The food gets better every time we go. The menu has an amazing range of street food from Indian to American to Italian and so on. Services is always spot on and friendly. Cocktails are absolutely gorgeous! Never had a bad mouthful in here even items I normally dislike are an absolute treat in here. Best restaurant in Cumbria say me and the Mrs. Also the artwork all around is awesome 😎

  I ordered halloumi gyros and they were good. Unfortunately, I am vegetarian and found small pieces of fried chicken inside the gyros. The manager was not particularly friendly or helpful. He offered to remove my drink from the bill and replace the food. I wanted the food removed from the bill and he didn’t seem pleased at this either.

  Was in Carlisle for work, my colleague booked this spot. Great spot, such a great variety on different cuisines; Greek, Korean, Mexican and Indian. Lots of vegetarian options, full of flavour, food was super fresh, love the outside seating option with the heaters. Food is on the greasy heavy side but ofc it’s deep fried and that can’t be helped. Super fresh, flavourful and portions are huge. The onion rings were wow. The salt and paper fries 10/10 too.
