Takeaway customer, collected. Not the 'best in Cannock' I was expecting based on other reviews and hearsay. Was a fair curry. Certainly wasn't terrible in any way. Only specific negative is that the 'mild' lamb balti we ordered was far too spicy to qualify as mild. Seems to be a common problem here in Cannock as other takeaways have the same issue. With the name Shabab I was hoping you'd be up there with your balti triangle namesake. But quite simply, we've had better. Service was good.

Love this place. We go on the 2for1 nights. We always share our mains half each and have sides. Love the poppadoms and pickle tray to. Onion barges are good. Never had a bad dish here. Have tried quite a few items off the menu. Staff friendly and will tell you what sone dishs are easily if you ask.

It's been a couple of years since I've been to Shabab and we wasn't disappointed Within a few minutes we were seated , chairs were very comfortable tables a decent size , we ordered our food once we had chosen off the menu , I decided on mixed meat jalfrezi and keema chips and a special naan. Food was amazing , probably one of the best Jalfrezis I've had . Wasn't so keen on the chips , well presented but not for me, everything else was great . Staff were very good , I know people like to see pictures so I took one halfway though 🤭 Don't let those little silver bowls put you off , never eaten so much different meats , very filling ! Give them a go ! And try that all meat jalfrezi 💯

Lots of good things about this restaurant. Poppadoms and chutneys were way better than average, truly excellent. Service was very good. It was clean and a nice environment. Starters and curries were good. Lots of choice on the menu, some creative dishes that sounded worth a try. The tandoori chicken in the curry was a bit meh. The paneer was delicious. Nan bread was top drawer. Overall a very pleasant experience but quite pricey I thought. Inflation kicking in hard but happy to pay it. Hospitality industry is taking serious pain.
