This is an email I sent to the restaurant but the email address wasn’t recognised. So I’ve put it on here instead… I’m just giving you feedback on some food I had last night. I’ve been a Manzil customer since the days when you were located in Bargates in the 1980s but I’ve been really disappointed in the last three experiences from you. In November I ordered a take away for delivery and it took over two and a half hours to arrive. Then in January I ordered three meals and the order was completely wrong. But the meal I had last night was the most disappointing. The main meals were a chicken tikka madras and a chicken tikka jalfrezi. Both meals lacked any depth of flavour and were more like a supermarket curry or one I can make myself. The madras was a basic tomato sauce with chilli and the jalfrezi was also a basic tomato sauce with lots of onion, no pepper at all and one green chilli on the top. There seemed like no skill in the cooking. I’m not sure if you have a different chef but it has put me off returning as a customer especially as there is so much competition in the area.

Dined in for work colleagues birthday. Fantastic food and outstanding service! The staff at Manzil Gold were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, they really went out of their way to make you feel looked after. The food was consistently delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully cooked every time. Great atmosphere, great team, and great dishes. A place I would happily return to again and again!

This was our first visit on Friday 13th February. The interior certainly doesn't match the exterior, very clean and modern, but not really to our taste. We were seated in a kiosk directly opposite the main entrance, which wasn't ideal. There was big guy sat in the waiting are, who looked like a delivery driver, who was on his phone with the speaker on discussing medical matters. Not good. The music was intermittent and not loud enough. The food was ok. Perhaps use it as a takeaway. For a Friday night, the place wasn't particularly busy and when we left just after 10, there was only one large group left. It's BYIB which is an advantage when it comes to the bill total. Would probably go again.

Nice, comfortable seats, very clean tables, calm and soft music surround. Polite and good service. Lots of items available in a menu. Takeaway available if necessary. Discounts when dine in. Enjoyed it.

Waited an hour and a half which ok its Saturday but the food was stone cold! Ordered a pickle tray with poppadoms there was no lime pickle, ordered a mixed kebab starter and the lamb had more knuckles then Tyson Fury!! Definitely never again
