  Bab Tooma Grande in Bradford is a must visit for authentic Syrian Middle Eastern cuisine! We started with their warm lentil soup, served while waiting, which was a lovely touch. Drinks included a refreshing strawberry mojito and traditional Arabic tea, both excellent. For mains, the seabass was perfectly cooked, lamb chops were juicy and flavorful, chicken wings were well seasoned, and the side of chips complemented everything nicely. Dessert was amazing, the kunafa with ice cream was beautifully presented and delicious, and the Turkish delight for takeaway was a sweet finish. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and the restaurant has a warm, cosy atmosphere that makes dining here a real pleasure. Overall, a fantastic spot for a full Middle Eastern dining experience, highly recommend trying a bit of everything!

  Tried syrian food for the first time, place was really nice and aesthetically pleasing. Server was also good, I tried their shawarma harrah…it was very tangy, I didn’t like it that much but thats on me for not knowing what to order…potatoes were really tasty. They also served us complementary lentil soup which was nice. Overall very recommended place.

  Wanted to try this place for ages. Was pretty empty we were seated and had orders taken quickly. The wait for food was about 45 minutes, made worse by how cold it was in there, having to put costs back on isn’t a great sign. When the food finally came it was ok. The falafel were some of the best I’ve had and the other mezze items we ordered were nice too. Unfortunately the potions on the main were absolutely tragic. They had a photo of what I ordered on menu cards and the fish I received was less than half the size which was really disappointing but after a 45 minute wait I wasn’t interested in asking for a new one.

  Me my husband and my daughter visited today as Akbars next door was closed. Weve had syrian food before but this was nowhere near like what weve had Ordered few dishes The chicken was dry and tasted stale Ive had much better! Interior was lovely

  Delicious food, brilliant customer service and fantastic value. Not our first visit and certainly not our last. The atmosphere and welcoming staff are worth the visit but the food is incredibly tasty, portions are ample and a lovely selection of beverages. Highly recommend
