⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited Dishoom Birmingham on 1st February 2026 as a party of five and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. We were seated at a great table in a busy, vibrant restaurant that clearly shows how popular this place is — and for good reason. Our server, Joni, was outstanding: polite, courteous, attentive, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the meal. She made us feel very welcome and well looked after. The manager also stopped by and was equally friendly and attentive, which really added to the positive atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious — especially the fresh naans and the never-ending masala chai, which was a real highlight. The restaurant itself was clean, beautifully designed, and had a warm, inviting vibe. A fantastic dining experience all around. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Dishoom recently announced they were going to expand their chain to the US, and with the level of exceptional service and quality of food that is constant throughout their restaurants, I have no doubt it’ll do incredibly well in the American market as well. We came to the Birmingham branch on a Friday evening wanting a table for two, and were told that we had about an hour and a half wait ahead. We stayed in the queue and were served some chai while we browsed the menu, and after about twenty minutes we were led inside to get drinks from the bar, which is so immaculately presented. I would say that the drinks could have a bit of a stronger kick as I couldn’t taste much of the spirits in the cocktail. After around 20 minutes at the bar as well, we were led to our seats and asked if we were celebrating an occasion, to which I told the lovely waitstaff it was my boyfriend’s birthday. Pietro was essentially serving the vicinity we were seated at, and his service was truly impeccable. The food, as always and compared to the London branches, were 10/10. I would recommend to ask them to tone down the spice level if you aren’t great with spice. Throughout the meal we were asked how everything was, and all the other waiters/waitresses were super helpful with things we wanted to add on— service was also very quick in terms of food. After our meal, my boyfriend was surprised with an amazing, decadent chocolate cake and ice cream (which I didn’t even request)! Which just totally made our

We really enjoyed our visit to Dishoom. Exciting noisy and bustling atmosphere, very busy of course. Had a bit of a wait but well looked after and chance to grab a drink. Our server was awesome and really great guy. The food was good but wouldn't say it was great or the best value. But we of course enjoyed it all and had a thoroughly great time.
