  We popped into Bites of India today for their afternoon tea and it was absolutely delightful from start to finish. The selection of Indian snacks was beautifully presented and packed with flavour, every bite felt thoughtful and authentic. The dhal was especially gorgeous, rich and comforting, and perfect for dipping. Paired with a lovely coffee and finished off with a beautiful Indian dessert, it was such a treat. Everything felt generous, relaxed and full of care. We genuinely can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend if you’re after something a little different and seriously delicious.

  We’ve come here several times predominantly for their Dosa/Thosai because you can’t find this anywhere in NI and they make it so authentically well I feel like I’m back home in Malaysia eating it. Their Sambar always comes hot and it hits the spot. Their chutneys are all amazing. Highly recommend this place.

  Lovely Indian place with friendly service and good food. We stoped here for a light dinner. The pani puri was presented nicely and although the taste was yummy it was lukewarm, I prefer the potatoe/chickpea mix to be warmer than what we received. The next thing we ordered were the veggie momos. We never had these before but they were presently nicely and flavor was ok not my favorite. We also ordered the chilli cheese dosa. The great thing about it were the sambor and three sauces served with it: tomatoe, peanut and coconut. Our server presented the dish and sauces nicely. The only caveat was that for someone who’s had many dosas in her life these were lacking filling. Although they were good I felt slightly robbed of more filling. I wouldn’t mind trying them again I do wish they are mindful of their dosa servings. Besides that the place packs a lot of flavor that Indian cousine is known for. ++ please try their mango lassi, it was our favorite throughout the Meal.

  Bites of India Botanic – Belfast Review During a short visit to Belfast, we were searching for a Halal restaurant and came across Bites of India, encouraged by its strong Google reviews. Initially, the experience seemed promising, but it turned out to be mixed for several reasons. Positives • Warm Welcome: The staff were friendly and accommodating from the start. They even allowed us to take advantage of their noon offer earlier than scheduled, which was a nice gesture. • Good Value Offer: The two-course meal for £12.99 sounded appealing and set high expectations. • Quick Service: Our dishes arrived promptly, which was appreciated. • Taste Quality: The flavors of the dishes were generally very good. We sampled a variety of items—meat and chicken dishes with rice and bread—and the seasoning and preparation were impressive. Drawbacks • Portion Size: This was the biggest disappointment. The rice portions served with the main dishes were shockingly small—just a few spoonfuls. When we ordered an extra side of rice, it came in a much larger portion, which raised questions. When we asked about this, the staff responded defensively, insisting the small portion was “normal” and that “everyone is happy with it.” This attitude felt unprofessional and left a negative impression. • Masala Tea: We requested masala tea at the start of the meal, but it was served at the end. Unfortunately, the tea was very basic—more like regular tea with milk and minimal spice flavor—and served in a very sm

  I absolutely loved the dinner I had here today! I ordered Achaari Paneer with Garlic Naans, Pani Puris and Mango Lassi. Everything was really authentic and delicious. I especially loved the Achaari Paneer as it was the best I’ve ever had! 😋 The staff, especially Dipiks (Sorry if I spelled the name wrong 😅) was really friendly and interactive! I’ve been living in the UK for the past three years, and I have to mention that this was the best Indian food I’ve had around here. 🤍 I’d recommend this restaurant a 100% if you’re around!
