  I had a very enjoyable meal at Olive House Turkish Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and the service attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant has a lively, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place for a relaxed evening out. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and the quality of the ingredients really showed. The grilled meats were tender, flavourful, and cooked perfectly, while the meze dishes were vibrant and generous. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in producing authentic Turkish cuisine. The only slight drawback was the position of our table, which was bear the door in the window. With people coming and going it could feel a little drafty and busy at times, which slightly detracted from what was otherwise a very comfortable dining experience. That aside, the staff were friendly and professional, the portions were generous, and the overall quality of the food was excellent. I would certainly return and would happily recommend Olive House to anyone looking for delicious Turkish food and welcoming service.

  Family meal for my Mum's special 0 birthday. It was amazing. The food is incredible and they brought a cupcake with a candle in, the whole restaurant sung. Totally unexpected. Well worth th 9-hour round trip for me!

  We went to Basingstoke’s The Olive House for my partners birthday and wish we’d gone there MUCH sooner!! 😄 We were greeted like old friends, and the manager, Gianfranco, couldn’t have made us feel more welcome or comfortable. The food was excellent! Incredibly tasty and great portions, it felt value for money. Great atmosphere, the “hubub” of a family restaurant 🥰 We would definitely recommend The Olive House the next time you’re in Basingstoke - for great food, great company and a great atmosphere 👍🏻😊

  The addition value is the manager! He treated my friend and I as it was our home. I highly recommend the kebab mix for 2 people, one of the best dish i tried in my life. Tips 😉 if you talk Italian you might have À limoncello paid🤣

  We were dining at a local Italian Restaurant but were let down by their unfriendly rude welcome so we walked to The Olive House nearby and despite not having a reservation had a very friendly welcome. I was a little upset when we were sat down as today is our wedding anniversary and it had started off being spoilt by the other restaurant but the warmth and friendliness of The Olive House person who welcomed us was so lovely, we had the most delicious meal and were given a very special plate of Baklava with heart shapes and two lit candles making for a lovely anniversary lunch, we also had photos taken to remember our special time there. Thank you for saving our anniversary lunch, we will have lovely memories now thanks to you.
