ordered a takeaway which was chicken tikka massala, butter chicken, onion bhaji, pakora and chips chicken nuggets, nan bread and egg fried rice and chips. onion bhaji, chicken pakora was dry no flavour and really cold, chicken nuggets cold and rubbery taste, chips were skin on fries but in a tub not wrapped so were freezing. Tikka was okay but didnt taste like a tikka and wasn't a smooth sauce its had chunky veg in it, egg fried rice was swimming in grease tasted terrible, garlic nan bread no flavour apart from being burnt on the bottom and tasting no garlic. butter chicken went straight in the bin not smooth and was so gritty in texture like spices not cooked properly tasted awful won't be ordering again. Very unhappy with this costing just under £50 and couldn't be eating.

Table was booked for 7pm, and we had ordered not long after this time. It took a good while to get a cocktail which I had ordered, and about 40 minutes or so for the starters to arrive. After these, around 8.50pm a server asked us how are mains were. We hadn’t even had them almost two hours later. We had to take our food out in carry out bags due to almost missing a train home as we aren’t from Aberdeen. It had felt like we had been forgotten about for our mains. Upon paying, we were told we had a discount taken off due to the error, which at the time we thought was a nice gesture, however, this was because we hadn’t received the paratha and the chips which we had ordered. I was so looking forward to this meal as I had heard and seen it was a great restaurant, but after this experience i’m worried to go back. The food ended up being okay, but it probably would’ve been better at the restaurant itself if we hadn’t had to wait almost two hours for it to arrive. Other than this, the toilets could have been better also. There were three women’s toilets, one was essentially a storage cupboard, and another didn’t even have a lock on the door. The only one which was fairly okay was the first one you come to.

This is a must if you are in Aberdeen and want to try the local whiskey. They have a great knowledge of all Scottish whiskey and is great to do as a group. Would highly recommend

This is an excellent restaurant. We recently discovered Nepalese cuisine at a restaurant in Edinburgh and this one is even better. The decor is very clean and modern with an attractive sprinkling of cultural items. The ambience is very comfortable with soft music and lighting. We don’t like bright spotlights but we also want to see our food. The service is friendly and prompt even though it has become very busy recently with a nearby office building in Union Street filling up. The food was wonderful with generous portions. The chicken pieces were fresh and juicy unlike a couple of bad experiences in different (Indian) restaurants recently. We took the surplus home and enjoyed our meal all over again a couple of days later. Highly recommended but you’ll need to book at busy times.

Ordered via deliveroo I am just feedbacking on the share of food I ordered. I ordered Popadam, Veg Momos, Butter Paneer Masala and Garlic Naan. Popadam was alright, when it arrived, it was a bit less crispy. Understandable because of travel Veg momos were good. I have had better but for Aberdeen, I won't complain. Butter paneer masala was bad. It was really sweet. Idk why would they make the curry so sweet. It was like drenched in sugar syrup. It ruined dinner for me. Naan was just a naan.
