An unforgettable gem in Östersund! Our visit to Basta was entirely unplanned—but what a spectacular surprise it turned out to be. It was, hands down, the best meal of our trip. This place is proof that following your instincts can lead to remarkable experiences. The atmosphere was vibrant and beautifully designed, the staff genuinely warm and welcoming, and the food? Very good. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Basta, for turning an ordinary lunch into something truly memorable.

Incredible dining experience on our last night in Sweden. Our waitress was wonderful, so friendly and excellent English. She made great recommendations for us and we enjoyed two mains each and pudding. I would not hesitate to go back to this restaurant and indulge again. Great drinks list, amazing homemade lemonade, the bomb dessert is an absolute MUST. Thank you team!!

Deserts were good but pizzas were awful. Too small and crest too big. Also too little meat on pizza. We were not stuffed after pizza. We also got Pasta carbonara and it was a tiny portion! Everything is kinda expensive but portions are too small!
