I have spent quite a long time in Oskarshamn and have eaten many times at Mimami. In my opinion, it is the best spot here in terms of variety and quality. I am really surprised to see negative reviews about the food quality. One of the key points is the quality of the ingredients, and the salmon is truly top-notch (texture, low fat, etc.). The spicy ramen is fabulous. This restaurant definitely elevates the overall dining experience in Oskarshamn!

Update June 11 2024: New locals, much bigger place and the food has gotten... Bland. Some parts still have their wow factor, but the others are really not that good (rolls were a big disappointment, and also the salmon thingy). I drove the extra hours to eat here and I was disappointed. The place has grown and with the growth the food lost its soul. Today it is more of a regular sushi place, and not at all worth the extra trip. I am really sad about it, but also a bit relieved because now I don't need to travel that far for a good sushi. ------------------- This is the best sushi i have eaten in Sweden. WOW! The fish is fresh, the tastes are so well balanced it is ridiculous. The miso soup they served was also perfect, by far the best i have ever tried. This sushi is definitely worth a detour (I am looking forward to drive from Stockholm to Malmö next time, because I will take the detour just for this place)!

Great Sushi place. we had vegan sushi and it was delicious! very much appreciated :) food is served with love by very kind and friendly people and looks awesome. We loved it :)
