  I honestly didn’t expect to find a döner place in the middle of Sweden – and certainly not one called Berlindöner. When I saw the sign, it was immediately clear: I have to try this. A small piece of familiar German street food, suddenly here in the north. The atmosphere is pleasant, a mix of urban and international vibes – exactly what you hope for when you visit a döner shop outside of Germany. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the place looked clean and welcoming. The döner itself was really tasty: fresh bread, good-quality meat, crisp vegetables, and a well-balanced sauce. I was genuinely surprised by how well they manage to make döner here in Sweden. Of course, it doesn’t quite reach the level of the legendary Berlin döner. But to be fair, that’s a tough comparison – Berlin is the home of the best döner in the world. Still, what I got here was absolutely solid and definitely enjoyable. If you’re in Linköping, craving something hearty, or looking for a little taste of Germany, I can absolutely recommend Berlindöner. A delicious döner, a touch of home – and a pleasant culinary surprise on Swedish soil.

  I visited this place with my girlfriend and ordered a children’s menu which included a dürüm and a Kinder egg. When we went to pick up our order, the employee refused to give us the Kinder egg because he claimed it was “only for kids.” Even after explaining that we ordered the item exactly as it was on the menu, the worker was extremely rude and unhelpful. He said if we had a problem, we should call his boss… and when I mentioned that his attitude and refusal to provide what we paid for would make the business lose local customers, he just said “This is fine.”And the conclusions is i don't think they should put something in the menu if thry will not give it to you!

  It was delicious with crunchy bread and a tasty portion of calf meat its a very nice place to eat something if you ever visit Linköping

  I grew up in Germany at the time where Döner sold at 3-4€. Now it's sold at 9-10€ due to inflation. This is why I'm quite ok with the price. I don't think they're asking for too much. Now to the authenticity of the taste, I have to say I was pretty excited to try this. I really really wanted a taste from home. And do I say, it delivered...somewhat. The ingredients are all fresh, the salad was nice and it had all the ingredients I'm used to from eating Döner in Germany. My order was Döner with Garlic Sauce (the original classic Döner). Now usually the garlic version of Döner is always somewhat spicy. But it was strongly lacking in that field. I mean they even sell the Döner Spice in Mason jars in Germany over the counter since it's so popular and a basic ingredient. It was totally lacking in spice imo. Still good though but was expecting a bit more. 8/10 overall -2 for the sauce (= no spice)
