  When in Rome! Brekeriet Ara IPA in the glass. Used to live 250 meters from this place some 20 years ago. Haven’t been back in at least 15. Not much has changed. It’s the natural spot for kicking back with friends while watching what little street life remains in the city center. The place is full of regular patrons, and that is a testament to this being the OG of watering holes in this town. Happy to see some local brews on tap and in the fridge.

  This is a hard one to review. 1)In Sweden you must serve food to run a bar. 2) the employee/former employee group bought long-time favorite Speakers Corner in the past couple years (along with Tycho Brahe in mid 2023). Both are popular locals spots that draw in the occasional summer tourist. I understand from my sister-in-law who lives here, that both places have raised prices and there have been menu shifts. Obviously to cut costs, increase profits. My experience was the food is average to slightly above average depending on dish. The fish of fish and chips that I ordered was the panko encrusted frozen squares. (The roumalade was excellent.) Fries at both were suitable as pub food. Both places are excellent day or night time drinking places and people watching albeit at a hefty price (but "normal" for Sweden). Drinking with locals and having something if you get hungry-Tychos, want to eat and then have a few more after lunch or dinner Speakers.

  I went up there to have a pint. I asked for local beer and received it... But not on the glass. Girl called Hannah spilled all of it on my trousers. Funny thing she even asked me to pay for this beer later on which is quite embarrassing for the owner I suppose. On my next business trip for sure aI will skip this "recommended" place.

  Coming from United States, my wife introduced me to this place while working in Landskrona. If you are looking for a nice dinner location with good, high-end food and great drinks, look no further. My Swedish is terrible, but the staff was courteous and helpful and we were able to get what we wanted. We'll definitely be back in the future.
