We had a late Friday evening dinner in mid August of 2025 in this beautifully situated restaurant on the beach of Höllviken in SW Sweden. The guests are mostly from the three posh cities of Skanör-Falsterbo, Ljunghusen and Höllviken. Food is not up to the standards of the view over the sea and service is pleasant but slow in periods of high affluence, e.g. during the early part of the evening. Prices including wine and other alcoholic beverages are on the high side. Overall a mixed experience.

In one word : AMAZING! The place is lovely, has windows all around to show the beach and the sea. It's bright, it's beautiful, and the food is delicious 😋

Our food was tasty. I would’ve happily paid more for more salad with my halloumi, the lemony couscous was yummy. The beers were good and the service was cheery and efficient. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and the price, often beach restaurants are awful, Strandtugg is very good.

This is a restaurant with a view of the sea and the beach in between. Although the view and interior are very nice the highly priced, mediocre, food does let the place down. Don’t get me wrong, the food was nice, but just a bit too expensive for its taste. The waiters were very friendly, although we had to wait for around one hour to receive our food. They had also forgotten an item that we had ordered as a snack.
