I visited today and I always love persian food no matter where I eat it. However this place had some weird taste in the meat for the koobideh but was still edible. The Mast Khair was nice too. I absolutely loved the icecream but €8 for that much was very expensive. The saffron isn’t part of the gelato they just add saffron water on top of the gelato. Coming to the service, there were 3 ladies working at the cashier and as waitresses too but only one of them was doing the job. The other 2 were just on their phone messaging and taking smoking breaks which was very disappointing. I had to wait over 10 minutes to order and even when wanting to order the waitress wouldn’t come unless u physically call them. At the same time i was waiting over 15 minutes to pay and no one bothered coming even though i was looking at them the whole time and made a lot of eye contact. Regarding the pricing, i wouldn’t say it’s too expensive but definitely not affordable. Also be careful and check your receipt as they over charged me! I didn’t order any bread and thought the bread came with the mast khair, but at the end she added the bread twice to my bill even tho we only ate one slice! I didnt bother telling them about it as they weren’t friendly at all. overall id give it only 4-5/10 as it ruined my day.

It was a very good restaurant with excellent service. The owners were extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming. For those who are in Italy, eat halal food, and miss Iranian cuisine, this place is a great choice. The quality of the food is even comparable to the good and tasty restaurants in Iran. We ordered the mixed platter with koobideh, barg, and joojeh, along with ghormeh sabzi and gheimeh stew. Everything was very delicious, except the gheimeh, which personally was not my favorite. Thank you.

We are at the end of a 10-day visit to Rome and wanted to try something different. Tanur was a fantastic find. We went to the Villa Borghese for Christmas World and then drove here. Just like in NYC we had to drive around to find an open spot, but it didn’t take long and this place is the real deal for Persian cuisine. I’ve never had such delicious Kubideh - which is basically a beautifully seasoned hamburger as a kebab. The food was spectacular and the staff, which I think are the mom, dad and son were warm and welcoming. The interior has a wonderful ambience and that made it even nicer. Even the placemats held our attention. They had Persian quotes and pictures and were entertaining. We asked for one to take with us. What a wonderful surprise and even almost all of our meals have been memorable (Italians definetly know how to cook), I think this was my favorite meal of the whole trip.

We wanted to try this restaurant after seeing it on google maps. The portion size was perfect, me and my boyfriend shared it and he was able to finish it after I was full. The chicken was my favorite and the ground beef was a close second. The atmosphere is pleasant and service was fast and friendly. A bit expensive compared to other Persian restaurants in Rome, but still very nice experience.

We had a great experience at this Iranian restaurant in Rome! The food was delicious — the kebabs were perfectly well done. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful Iranian décor and innovative underplates that added a nice touch to the presentation. Everything felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommended!
