  A fantastic place with some of the best traditional Sicilian food I’ve had. The owner was very gracious, helpful, and entertaining. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the outdoor dining area in the piazza with a rustic fountain.

  I tried this restaurant in August 2018 with family, and was convinced by the owner to try their pasta with yellow pesto, which I still remember as having a subtle but delicious taste. Coming back to Ragusa again this Sunday with family, I was happy to see the restaurant was open out of season for lunch. While the menu had since changed, maybe it is seasonal, the Ravioli with pistachio was also top notch, and the various other main courses enjoyed by the family were also great. Highly recommended if you are visiting the top of Ragusa Ibla.

  Originally we only wanted to eat at La Piazzetta for one evening, but were unable to resist to eat there for a second evening. The waiters are very nice, helpful and yet very much in the background. The owner comes by briefly and welcomes you. The food comes at perfect intervals, without stress and tastes simply fabulous. These are authentic dishes which, according to the owner, are locally sourced and handmade wherever possible. A very clear recommendation!

  That was delicious!! We had the Ricotta ravioli with ibleo pig sauce and the Pasta with Bronte pistachio and prawns. We shared a bottle of Drus Nero D’Avola , Siracusa DOC. Every bite was exceptional, every sip delightful. We arrived at 7 without a reservation (mid September). By 8 o’clock everything was picking up quickly. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to describe every dish. They were fun. We sat outside, next to the water fountain. Awesome atmosphere. If we are ever back in Ragusa, we will definitely revisit this restaurant.

  One of the best meals I have had. Highly recommend. Excellent food, impeccable service and amazing ambiance. We had the grilled tuna, orange and fennel salad and rigatoni with fennel and sausage ragu followed by cannoli.
