If you are very hungry, if you want to eat exotic food (especially meat 🥩 🍖 🍗) and not spend a lot of money this place is for you!!! All of this with exceptional service and Brazilian hospitality! Ps. Don’t forget to try the “grilled pineapple” at the end!

Very warm welcome, the food is the reason to come here, very good meat selections and have to also comment that the Brazilian beer is very drinkable indeed. The venue is bright and clean and functional. Would definitely recommend giving this place a go, unless you are a vegetarian ( then dine elsewhere)

The guys are seriously good. - super cocktails - perfect food - perfect service - polite people, understanding your style and adapting really quickly to your needs. Even though they knew I'm just a tourist, that they won't see me again, I got treated really nice. Strongly recommend. A very nice break from Italian food.

Best place ever in Matera. Great atmosphere, great staff and superlative food…the great combination of high quality ingredients cooked to perfection! When in Matera I am always at A Barraca for dinner and it’s always lived up to expectations. Highly recommended if you love enjoying great food in a lively atmosphere
