  Best restaurant ever! This food was the best indian food i have had in my whole life. If you are debating on where to eat, this is the place! As a starter they served us free pappadums with different toopings. Mmmm. I got the lamb biryani. It was 11,5€, very cheap, and we got huge portions. I tasted fantastic!! and the sauce was so delicious. You could choose the spice level yourself. We also got garlic naan which was great. The Chicken Tikka Masala was sweet and creamy with tender pieces of chicken. Everyone cleared their plate. Definitely get the mango lassi as a drink. As tourists from Denmark, they were very welcoming and spoke english very well. Our waiter was curious and sweet. Unfortunately our granddad fell, and everyone rushed to help. Very sweet of them. If we come back to this town, it is without a doubt that we come back here to eat.

  What a disappointing visit to Mantra in Elche! Ordered a chicken korma and it was just chicken in unflavoured milk. The other meals were fine. We asked to change it for something else which they did but service after was dreadful afterwards. We were totally ignored for the rest of the evening and had to go and find the main waiter every time we wanted something, drinks, pudding, coffee. There were 3 other waiters but no one would come to our table. Our waiter was extremely unfriendly and we couldn’t wait to leave. Took our friends there for the first time and we will not be returning. Thank you for a very unpleasant evening :(

  From start to finish, amazing. The food was incredible and easily one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Fresh, authentic food. Atmosphere and service were both impeccable. Highly recommended!

  Never been to an Indian restaurant where you only get half a poppadom and smallest amount of pickles ever . All the starters were lovely problems came when we returned one of the four mains the korma which was completely tasteless and looked like chicken in a bowl of milk . After this whenever we wanted another drink or anything else the waiter seemed to forget we were there it wasn’t busy and wasn’t interested and we had to get up and go and get him. He never cleared debris off the table between courses and wanted us to have our mains on our dirty starter plates . Forgot our coffees . Would not go back but please form your own conclusion .

  Best South East Asian Food in Elx! The man behind the bar and the woman from Nepal gave us great customer service. I absolutely loved the Gambas Chutney Wala with the Naan de ajo. This is our second time here and if we can, we are definitely coming back for more
