The food was absolutely incredible, far exceeding my expectations. As someone familiar with Arab cuisine, I can confidently say this was top-notch Arabic fare. The flavors were so rich and comforting that I found it impossible to stop eating after the first bite; I just had to finish my plate! The customer service was equally impressive. Moaz was genuinely friendly and even took the time to share insights about the dishes, plus he treated us to a complimentary baklava after our meal. I highly recommend this place!

We had a very good experience at Damasco. The restaurant is centrally located, beautifully decorated, very colorful, and has a great atmosphere with pleasant music. The service was excellent, friendly, and attentive. Overall, the food was good, flavorful, and felt authentic, with dishes that tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared. Everything we tried was enjoyable. I would have liked slightly more meat in one of the dishes, but it was still satisfying. It wasn’t absolutely outstanding, but it was a very enjoyable and authentic experience, and I would definitely recommend this place

Damasco is tucked away on a narrow street in Córdoba’s historic Judería, just a two-minute walk from our hotel. Despite having several halal options nearby, we chose Damasco simply because of how busy it was and how good the food looked on other tables. That instinct paid off. We ordered the mixed skewers and veal-and-cheese arayes. Everything arrived piping hot, clearly freshly prepared, and full of flavor. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, and nothing felt rushed or reheated. The waiters were also genuinely friendly and helpful, patient with questions, happy to make recommendations, and attentive without hovering. It added to the relaxed, welcoming feel of the place. We finished with Moroccan mint tea and a piece of baklava, both of which were excellent. The baklava in particular tasted fresh, not overly sweet, and nicely balanced. A lively atmosphere, good food, and warm service in the heart of Córdoba’s Central historical district. Easy to see why it’s popular and well worth a visit.

Restaurante Damasco, tucked away in the beautiful and historic city of Córdoba, is a true standout for authentic Syrian and Middle Eastern cuisine. This family-run spot offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with lush greenery and elegant decor. The staff are simply incredible – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They make you feel like family from the moment you walk in, and the service is prompt even when the place is buzzing. But the food? Absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared with generous portions: Roast Chicken: Tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Shish Taouk: Succulent grilled chicken skewers with that classic tangy marinade – a highlight! Mixed Skewers: A fantastic variety of meats, charred just right and bursting with spices. Crispy Nuggets: Fun, crunchy bites that were a hit. Arabic Rice: Fragrant and fluffy, the ideal accompaniment. Wings: Spicy, crispy, and addictive. Paired with their aromatic rice and sides, it was a feast that left us completely satisfied. As a halal restaurant specializing in Syrian/Lebanese dishes, it's a refreshing change from traditional Spanish tapas while exploring Córdoba. If you're in the city, don't miss this spot – it's one of the best dining experiences we've had!

We stumbled into this place as it started to rain; and what awaited inside was far more than shelter from the weather: it was a small journey straight into the Levant. The most amazing part (and mind you, the food was very good) is the courtyard filled with cascading greenery. It felt like stepping into another era entirely, somewhere timeless and serene. Nothing corporate or generic here; you can clearly feel the touch of an owner who cares deeply about the atmosphere and authenticity. It’s rare to find a place that feels so genuine. And the food fully lived up to the setting. The presentation was colorful, thoughtful, and creative. The falafel was excellent, but the standout dish for us was the Hummus Alhambra — vibrant with beetroot and topped with pomegranate. It was superbly flavorful, deeply satisfying, and both authentically rooted and memorably inventive.
