The food here is superb and the staff attentive, cordial, and committed to customer satisfaction. We thought that the fish casserole might better be styled a fish stew, but nomenclature be damned. It was simply surprisingly delicious.

We hadn't booked but as we had read very good reviews we were targeting this restaurant. Ystad is lovely but rather quiet and we were so glad to see Le Petit Bistro was busy with a lovely atmosphere! Luckily a lovely waiter (Zachariah) managed to get us a table for two. The food was superb. I/we would highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice bistrot for a dinner - we had a business dinner here the other day and enjoyed great food 🥘 the menu is really good and everyone will find something what they like. The service was also really good 😊 and kind - so you feel very welcome

Nice tastes (most of them), excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Good selection of wines. I can propose the meat dishes and most of the starters.

Unfortunately, our visit didn’t get off to a good start. We waited quite a while to be acknowledged at the entrance, even as several staff members walked past us. Eventually, I had to walk into the bar area just to get someone’s attention. When we mentioned the issue, it was brushed off, and we were seated without much acknowledgment. That said, the food was genuinely very good, and the overall vibe of the place was enjoyable. It feels like the staff might be overwhelmed, which is understandable in a brand-new restaurant, but this place has been open for a while. There’s definitely potential here, but the service side needs some serious attention.
