  I have to admit, didnt expect authentic balvan food in Scandinavia. Some parts were pretty amazing taste. Of course I had no problem comunicating here🤣🤣🤣 The only thing I missed is a kind of bread that is Balkan based....lepinja.

  Usualy I rarely give a five star rating. But this was trully wort a five star rating. I'm originally from Serbia and I never thought that a Serbian restaurant in Sweden could surprise me as much as Balkan Steak House did. The chef deserves all the credit for the food. I could give some improvment comments such as having one more option of potatos instead of french fries. And kajmak could have been much better. But the main dish was great. Meat was really good cocked and taste was great. I will come back.

  The serving size here is massive so come feeling really hungry and with an empty stomach. Else, there is no shame to take a doggy bag. This large restaurant is in a stand alone house just minutes from Länna Sports. There is free parking onsite. Here's what we tried: Drinks 🔸️Jelen 0.5 beer 👍👍👍👍 Such a well flavored Serbian lager. The beer is malty, aromatic and lightly carbonated. It is a great accompaniment to rich, meaty dishes. --- Mains 🔸️46. Podgorički popeci 👍👍👍 (Fried roll of cheese and smokey tasting prosciutto served with cream and fried potato wedges.) Interesting like a large fried soft spring roll. Cheesy, smokey and a rich tasting combination with the cold cream sauce. Order this only if you enjoy salty, smoked food, else the flavor is over powering. 🔸️47. Balkan steak 👍👍👍👍 (Large grilled entrecote served with bearnaise sauce, cream, grilled vegetables and fried potato wedges.) A dish that will make even a giant feel full. The huge slab of medium-well entrecote was juicy with some fats in the middle. I thought it would have been more enjoyable if it was done medium instead to keep the meat softer. The meat paired nicely with the cold cream and the generous pool of bearnaise sauce. The fried potato wedges were large, chunky, slightly salty and so wondrously enjoyable. I enjoyed the grilled vegetables with chopped onions best. They were juicy and savoury. The mushrooms especially were large, fresh and deliciously with the marinate. Dessert

  A restaurant on the far outskirts of Stockholm. The prices are ridiculous, don't believe the Google average of 100-200 kr per person, maybe if you came for a simple burger and a glass of water. Restaurant service unprofessional. Grilled meat in average is ok, but certainly overpriced. Offering specialty Kaymak that doesn't even have the letter K of Kaymak itself... ordinary store-bought cream cheese... of course overpriced. Glass of wine (certified - but not) poured from plastic canisters because they smell like that... Etc.

  Although Balkan cuisine is one of the best in Europe, this place gives the completely opposite impression. The quality of the food has significantly declined over the past few years. The restroom is extremely dirty. Despite being labeled as accessible for people with disabilities, there’s no changing table for babies. The toilet seat is so unhygienic. All of this might be overlooked if the service were good — arguably the most important part of any dining experience. Unfortunately, the waitress was openly argumentative and clearly lacked even basic training in hospitality. There was only one other table occupied in the restaurant, so it’s not like she was under pressure. It honestly felt like she couldn’t wait for us to leave. The food was poor in both quality and taste. Sadly, I do not recommend this place.
